Proposition C, passed by San Francisco voters in November 2003, requires that:

• The City establish standards for street, sidewalk, and park maintenance;
• The City departments engaged in street, park and sidewalk maintenance publish
  their schedules on the web, and;
• The Controller's Office conduct an annual performance audit of the City's street, sidewalk and park maintenance and cleaning operations.

The Recreation and Park Department worked closely with the Controller's Office to develop park maintenance schedules and standards and is now posting this information on a quarterly basis.
