Citywide Arts

As part of the new recreation model, the Cultural Arts Division endeavors to create robust, high quality art offerings for Full Service Recreation Facilities located throughout San Francisco. With special attention to the cultural specificities of each unique neighborhood, our classes provide a global approach to arts education and strive for an open environment for multi-cultural exchange. We want arts programs that are hands-on and participatory in nature, where each course feels like a specialized, individually designed program for that one-of-a-kind experience. With a wide array of artistic programming, we offer something for everyone and everything that falls under the rubic of “The Arts”: Arts & Crafts, Creative Writing, Dance, Digital Art, Music, Theater & Visual Arts. We have some of the finest art educators and practioners in the Bay Area working for us, sharing their wealth of artistic knowledge and experience.
