San Francisco Recreation & Parks manages 132 free municipal tennis courts located at playgrounds, parks and recreation centers throughout San Francisco. Golden Gate Park has 21 courts which can be reserved for a nominal fee. Use our map page to locate a tennis court near you!

The San Francisco Recreation and Park Department offers Professional Instruction for a fee at Golden Gate Park Tennis Complex.

  • 1 hour private lesson: $50.00
  • 1/2 hour private lesson: $30.00
  • 1 hour 2-person (cost per person): $30.00
  • 1 hour group - Adult (cost per person): $20.00
  • 1 hour group - Junior (12 & under)(cost per junior): $16.00
