Our contractor has mobilized, and tree work has begun at Buchanan Street Mall.
Tree work on the southern blocks is well underway, with a cluster of pine trees south of McAllister to be removed next week. Tree work will continue progressing to the north through May 23.
The contractor has installed site fencing in a small area near Ella Hill Hutch, north of McAllister Street. Starting Monday, May 19, they will install site fencing on the southern two blocks, between Grove and McAllister.
Next week there will be some traffic rerouting for videotaping of sewer lines. Please follow all signs and the instructions of flaggers.
The contractor will then continue meticulous documentation of the existing sewer facilities, so our partners at SFPUC can confirm and refine the direction for needed repairs.
