This month, extensive demolition and re-grading continue along select pathways around the Fountain Plaza, Mediterranean Garden, Rhododendron Garden (east of the Waterfowl Pond), New Zealand and South African Gardens.
These areas are expected to reopen to the public in approximately one month, weather permitting.
This week, crews are also preparing the pathways west of the Garden for asphalt paving, including portions of the Andean Cloud Forest, Zellerbach Garden of Perennials, and the Southeast Asian Cloud Forest.
Remember to stay clear of any areas that are closed for construction. Construction crews are operating heavy equipment in these areas, and your cooperation helps keep everyone safe.
We’re also happy to report that the renovations and accessibility upgrades to the restrooms at Great Meadow are now complete. The facility is now open and accessible to all!
