Much progress has been made over the past couple months on the utility and sitework, including concrete curbs, walls, paving and ramps, regrading, as well as installation of irrigation systems, water service, PG&E power, and gas service. The multi-purpose sports court surface has been installed, and planting is expected to begin next month. The mural restoration and expansion is nearing completion, blending new mural sections with the old for a seamless transition.
On the interiors, tiling and drywall are complete and casework installation is underway. The contractor is hard at work on the natatorium interior, with extensive plaster work and other finishing of the walls and structure underway. Trench drains are being set now, in preparation for the new pool deck waterproofing and concrete slab which will be installed in the coming weeks. Installation of pool and mechanical/electrical/plumbing equipment and connections is on-going.
Completion and reopening of the pool is expected fall/winter 2020.
