I hope you are well and finding opportunities to connect with nature and virtually connect with community during this time of sheltering in place.
Construction proceeded off and on through the winter and early spring, when COVID 19 public health orders put a pause on many business-as-usual activities, including non-essential public construction. With the 4/29/20 public health order allowing construction work to continue while managing sites for enhanced site health and safety, our contractor is poised to restart work this week.
Treaty Construction had made some progress—off and on, due to rains—prior to site closure. The restroom renovation work is completely roughed in, and the walls will be closed up soon, followed by finish work. And the major achievement has been getting out of the ground at the ramps between the clubhouse and plaza area. The concrete walls were poured, stripped, and the ramps backfilled prior to the mandatory site closure. Some exploratory irrigation work was completed as well.
Our contractor is poised to move more quickly with construction through the spring and summer. Trenching for new electrical and irrigation work, installing new lighting, and finishing the restroom.
We’ll keep you posted!
