Public Art Project Plan Presentation for Gene Friend Rec Center
Thank you to community members who have provided input on the Public Art Project Plan!
The Public Art Project Plan for Gene Friend Rec Center will be presented to the Arts Commission Visual Arts Committee (VAC) this week. The meeting is a hybrid meeting. This is a public meeting, and there is an opportunity for members of the public to provide comment. Ours is Item #8 on the agenda. Arts Commission staff anticipate that our item will be presented at approximately 4:30 pm. Civic Design Phase 2 Approval for Gene Friend Rec Center
The project team presented at the Civic Design Review (CDR) Committee meeting this past Monday, July 17. The project received Phase 2 approval, with a few conditions for studies to be shared as part of Phase 3 presentation. The project team anticipates presenting Phase 3 later this year (likely November 2023).
