A pre-application technical workshop will be held online at 5:30 pm on August 30.

We look forward to moving together toward selection of artists and artworks!
Zoning Variance Approved
Last week, the Zoning Administrator approved Rec and Park’s application for a variance for the staff shower and locker requirement. This approval represents a budget savings for the project and allows us to maximize much-needed storage and equipment to ensure the new facility and programming function smoothly.
Contract Amendment
Staff will be presenting an amendment to the professional services / architecture and engineering contract to the Rec and Park Commission Capital Committee next Wednesday, September 6. This amendment covers additional service requests already received, for scope related to the project but not anticipated, as well as a small margin for the possibility of future unforeseen conditions. There is opportunity for public comment at this hearing. Agenda and information on how to make public comment will be available on the Rec and Park Commission page closer to the hearing. Please visit this page to learn more.
We are still planning for construction start in early 2024.
Stay tuned for more updates!
