We are super excited that the playground is now open to the public! Thank you to everyone who supported this special project.
Over the next few months, you will continue to see our contractor on-site periodically to make adjustments and complete some finishing touches.
One of the main items left to finish is opening the new lawn below the playground.
The lawn area below the playground is currently fenced off because the new grass must complete an establishment period.
This establishment period is very important to the success and long-term health of the grass. So, even though the grass looks inviting, please stay out of the lawn area until it officially opens.
Establishment requires resting the grass, watering, and two mowing cycles. We must monitor the lawn’s progress before we can open the area, but right now, the plan is to remove fencing around the lawn in the second week of October.
