A few updates as to how this work relates to the Twin Peaks Figure 8 Redesign and Twin Peaks Trails Improvement Projects:

-Rec and Park has completed the replacement of steps on the north (Eureka) peak of Twin Peaks (

-Thanks to interagency coordination between Rec and Park, SFMTA and Public Works, the paving project will include improvements at the north peak trailhead, including moving the drain inlet into the street to mitigate flooding, installing a new stop sign, cross walk and soft hit posts and cutting an opening in the guardrail west of Twin Peaks Boulevard to connect to the new multi-use trail north of the north peak

-The Figure 8 Redesign team is working on conceptual designs for the Figure 8:  stay tuned for information about an open house in which these designs will be shared with the community
