Mariposa Park Welcome to Mariposa Park. As of July 1, 2023, San Francisco Recreation and Parks will assume the management and maintenance of a unique collection of park spaces in the city's Mission Bay neighborhood. Mapriposa Park is located at Mariposa Street and Owens Street.


The park includes a playground, picnic area, trellis area and lawn.


Recreation and Parks has also assumed maintenance of nearby Mission Creek Park (North and South), Mission Bay Kids Park, Mission Bay dog parks, and Mission Bay Commons.
