Youngblood Coleman Field is located on Mendell Street at Galvez Street. The field was renovated in 2003 including the installation of a new synthetic turf filled surface and other site improvements such as new fencing. There is need for a restroom to serve the field which is very heavily used by the community. 
 
 Amenities 
 Practice harder and play longer at this busy Bayview-Hunter’s Point sports park. The popular artificial turf soccer and softball fields are lit up at night, as are the basketball and tennis courts. Little ones can run around freestyle in the play area, or join a program at the community clubhouse. Picnic areas also available.
