Rec and Park is working on the design of a ramp and deck at the San Francisco Botanical Garden Bookstore in Golden Gate Park to ensure it complies with all current building codes and the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Since our August update, San Francisco Public Works Bureau of Architecture has been revising the design plans based on feedback from Rec and Park’s maintenance and operations team. Once these drawing packages are complete, we will submit these to the Department of Building Inspection for approval and announce a request for contractor bids. We will keep you posted as the project progresses!
