The ball field fence repairs are complete and look fantastic! Construction in the playground area continues with the lower planting areas and wood stepper borders almost complete and final concrete “riverbed” and curbs soon to be poured.
The contractor has begun grading for the new sculpture garden area, is almost finished installing site drainage, and will soon begin grading the main access road to Diamond Heights. We have been in communication with the contractor, regarding delays due to COVID 19 (from both springtime sheltering in place and other delays due to cases within the construction and supplier workforce), and our new project completion is now scheduled for late January 2021. Aside from the pandemic impacts, the project continues to move smoothly, and the park is looking great!
