The weather is not on our side to pick up pace of construction; however, we have come to resolution on a few key coordination issues with the contractor and they are back on site as of this week, picking up with granite wall work and then completing installation of the storm drain system.
The contractor team is not on site when it’s raining and sometimes not the following day either if the soil is saturated. Please note that we are requiring documentation from the contractor for any rain days requested and that we add those days to the contract duration, pending our review and approval.
Last week, we had a productive coordination call with the landscape architecture team, electrical engineer, construction management team, general contractor, and electrical subcontractor.
This week we received submittal for the remainder of plants.
Regarding the project schedule, as noted in previous updates, all planting, including trees and sod, needs to be installed and approved at least three months before the park re-opens. We are currently projecting that to be early Summer 2024.
We are pushing forward as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience with and support of this curb-to-curb renovation.
Stay tuned for more updates!
