On November 16, 2024, over 100 San Francisco residents joined SF Recreation and Park department and the Friends of Jackson Park at a public community meeting in the historic Jackson Park Clubhouse. The project team shared plans of the approved design for the renovation of Jackson Playground.

The meeting provided a lively forum for feedback on the design, including the children’s play areas, as well as the renaming of the park, funding, and project schedule. The project design team led by Fletcher Studio and Jackson Liles Architecture, gathered community input from the design workshop section of the meeting.
