Since our last update in June, we’re excited to report that the new playground’s final piece of custom play equipment – the large, curved, metal slide – arrived on July 16 and installation of the slide is now underway.
Our contractor is also working to complete the installation of the safety surfacing and to plant the landscaped areas.
Stern Grove Playground is set to reopen by the end of August. We’ll share information about the ribbon-cutting celebration once an opening date is identified.
