Even with these heavy winter rains, we continue to make progress at Herz Playground. The new sewer lines that serve the clubhouse, restrooms, and site drainage are in, and the rough plumbing for the restroom renovation is complete. As we uncover old plumbing, we make repairs to existing systems as needed. In the coming weeks we’ll be working on irrigation, grading and layout of new retaining walls.
Behind the scenes, the playground fabricators are building the equipment and are on time to deliver. Nature inspired colors of oranges, blues, and greens, climbing elements, swings and outdoor instruments are on their way. In the next months, as layout for the project develops, the playground will start to take shape.
