Hi neighbors! We’re looking forward to starting construction at Richmond Playground later this year. The project will feature a complete renovation of the Children’s Play Area, accessibility improvements at the park entry and restrooms, new site furnishings, paving and planting, and upgrades to the park restrooms. According to the current schedule, we expect those areas of the park to close later this year and reopen next summer.
We have received three contractor bids and working now with our capital team on selecting a contractor from these three proposals. Thanks for your support! We’ll keep you posted as the project progresses.
