We are excited to provide a new opportunity at the Golden Gate Park Senior Center (GGP Senior Center)!
Through the funding support of the 2020 Parks Bond and the Board of Supervisors, Rec and Park is beginning the early outreach and community engagement phase for a new Outdoor Recreation Area, near the existing GGP Senior Center.
This space will enable us to support more senior-focused outdoor fitness activities, that can range from exercise equipment, dance, tai chi, yoga, and Zumba to passive activities like crafts and workshops. We are beginning community engagement in late Summer 2024.
