We have a few different things going on site this month:
- Working to clear debris from the top layers of the site within the next couple of weeks, ahead of ground improvements installation, to minimize conflicts with that work
- Wrapping up the test program for Deep Soil Mixing (DSM) ground improvements (see last month's update for more details)
- Doing our final round of geotechnical testing to inform our ground improvements plans
NOTE TO NEIGHBORS: We anticipate the Contractor team will be working this Saturday, August 31, from 7 am to 7 pm and this Sunday, September 1, from 7 am to 7 pm. This will involve impacts similar to typical weekday work.
We anticipate more Saturday work and extended hours in September / October, once DSM site work commences. We’ll follow up once we have more details.
We are also working with the general contractor to get the various trade contractors on board to complete the rest of the project. This is an iterative process and involves receiving and vetting cost proposals from core trade subcontractors and from Swinerton's own team for some scopes and broadly advertised competitive bids for others.
