Construction is currently focused on specialized sewer work, surface demolition, and careful investigations to locate and protect existing utilities. The project team has completed the second of three 48-hour sewer lining operations, where a liner is placed inside the existing sewer to strengthen it. See SFPUC's Cured-in-Place Liner (CIPL) fact sheet for more information.
The third and final sewer lining operation is planned for August 27-29 at the north end of the park. We'll confirm dates in a future update.
Soon, our contractor will begin the drilling work for pedestrian light poles and fence posts.
