Golden Gate Park - 9th & Lincoln Gateway Improvements

GGP 9th Lincoln Gateway RenderingBackground

The gateway to Golden Gate Park at 9th Avenue and Lincoln Way is one of the most well used park entrances by pedestrians, cyclists, and drivers. The gateway is in need of landscape improvements that will create an iconic and welcoming arrival so that the entry experience may live up to its prominent location. The proposed gateway design will also improve wayfinding for those arriving by foot, it will increase pedestrian safety, and will serve to strengthen the connection between Golden Gate park and the Inner Sunset.
