Thanks to the nearly 30 people who attended and participated in yesterday evening’s online community meeting update. As discussed during the meeting, we received 2 contractor bids for the project. Both bids are within budget. We are working to verify the low bid as soon as possible, with the goal of presenting construction contract award to the Rec and Park Commission Capital Committee as an action item in September. This hearing will be on Wednesday, September 7, at 2 pm. Please stay tuned for more details on this hearing.
