Through the funding support of the 2020 Parks Bond and the Board of Supervisors, Rec and Park is beginning the early outreach and community engagement phase for a new Outdoor Recreation Area, near the existing Golden Gate Park Senior Center. This space will enable us to support more senior-focused outdoor fitness activities.
Join us to learn more about this project, talk to Rec and Park staff, see the results of the initial survey, and offer your feedback on the design of this exciting, new recreation space. We welcome people of all ages and abilities to help inform us about the features you would like to see in this space.
